A great experience from the first contact.  Contract was signed through email,  vehicle was at the airport when we landed and Douglas texted us where to find the vehicle.  We walked up and got in it,  as if it was ours.  No lines, no hectic hassle,  clean, full tank of gas and even money in it to pay parking at the airport.  Drop off was just as simple. We rented the Yukon + Camping equipment for our one week stay in Kauai and couldn’t have made a better choice with Aloha Car Rentals. Douglas was very friendly and accommodating. Communication was quick and easy. The handover of the car at the airport went smoothly and we had no problems with the car during our stay. If we needed anything or needed help, Douglas was just a phone call away. We rented a Yukon for our family of five. We needed car seats for our twins and a booster seat for our oldest. Douglas was amazing. His rates were beyond fair, plus he threw in the car seats for free and even offered to let us borrow a stroller. The Yukon was parked in the airport parking lot waiting for us when we arrived. And the seats were all set up for us. So we just loaded up and went on our way! Drop off was easy too. Parked at the airport, hid the key in the lock box as directed, and then headed to our flight. Communication with Douglas was always prompt and kind. We are actually now moving to the island in January, and he definitely has our business any time we need to rent a car or for when our family comes to visit us. Best car rental experience ever. Much easier (and more cost effective) than the big rental companies. Great, reliable car, very easy pickup and drop off. Doug was very friendly, always responsive and extremely accommodating when my travel plans changed slightly. If I return to Kaua'i (and I hope I do), Aloha Car Rentals will be my first call. We were extremely happy and grateful to have found Aloha Car Rentals! Doug was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to take care of us! He even delivered our vehicle to our resort! We originally had a reservation for a larger SUV and then last minute 2 people in our party cancelled. I reached out to Doug and he was so accommodating and provided us with a smaller and less expensive vehicle which worked out perfect for us. We would highly recommend Aloha Car Rentals and would definitely book through them next time we are on Kauai. If you want to keep it local, save money and have a fantastic personal experience then this company is for you!
